Description: We all love books and we all love to talk – perfect when you’ve got books to talk about. Our book club meets once every three weeks to discuss the book we have just read. The books are provided by the learning centre with a book levy included in the cost. If you are a new class member, please come into the KCLC office to collect your first book. This needs to be read before you attend your first session.

While reading is often considered a solitary activity, book clubs transform it into social experience, that encourages discussion, critical thinking and community building in a world increasingly shaped by fast-paced digital media.
Our book Club at the Learning Centre has been in operation since the early days of the Centre, in fact one of our members joined the club on day one.
We have great enjoyment discussing the current book, in addition to a variety of local topics. Our brains are further stimulated by a delicious 3-course lunch, plus glasses of wine.
