Description: A workshop for those experienced in the arts of knitting or crocheting. Class members work on their own projects while encouraging one another, sharing their skills and enjoying the company as they crochet, knit and natter. No beginners please.

This year our class has become a workgroup with the retirement of Maureen Creasy and Fleur Reed. Each week our enthusiastic ladies come along to catch up while working on individual projects and are always willing to assist those who get a little tangled. It is a very relaxed and enjoyable morning for all!
Our classmate, Marilyn Gosnell, travels to South Africa to visit family and friends each year. As a group we decided to use our skills to make beanies for the very disadvantaged, which Marilyn will take to give to a local charity. Past member, Leela Taylor, shared our project with her new craft group and recently contributed two large bundles of beanies.
We are now knitting and crocheting brightly coloured squares to sew into blankets. These projects are optional, while we continue with beautiful personal work.
